This purse is constructed with reed and Japanese black dyed staves woven with Japanese black dyed and cane weavers. The bases are ebony and the handle is maple with an ebony overlay.The flower carving, peg and knobs and washers are ivory. The rim is painted black and lashed with blalck cane.
